Kiev slaps anti-dumping duties on Russian nitrogenous fertilizers
KIEV, Dec 30 (PRIME) -- Ukraine has introduced 4.19–31.83% anti-dumping duties on Russian nitrogenous fertilizers from February 28, the official newspaper of the Ukrainian government Uryadovy Courier reported on Friday.
Ukraine introduced five-year duties on imports of Russian ammonia nitrate in 2014. Russia is contesting the decision in the World Trade Organization (WTO), while Ukrainian farmers have started to buy other types of Russian fertilizers containing ammonia.
The duty was set at 4.19% for fertilizers made by KuibyshevAzot; at 18.78% for Novomoskovsk’s Azot and Nevinnomyssk Azot, which is a part of EuroChem holding, and at 31.84% for the rest of producers.
